Nokia 2700 Classic - A Real Classic from Nokia

Its almost 3 month from now I purchased this phone, Nokia 2700 Classic. That time I had some constraint on the budget so that I needed to buy a phone within my budget that is around Rs.4500 or $100. I also wanted a phone that had a good camera having a resolution of atleast 2 Mega Pixels and obviously I am a passionate music listener so I wanted a good quality music player in the phone. 

I started making a list of phones that are limited to my requirements and specially my budget. The phones that were on my list were Nokia 2700 classic, Samsung Metro S3310, LG GM200, Nokia 7210 Supernova. All of this had the features that I wanted but only Nokia 2700 Classic was under my budget, in fact less that my maximum budget. So I decided to go for it.

Its features are as follows,

• 2 Mega Pixel Camera with video recording of 1 hour. Pictures captured were of good quality, but there was no explicit night mode settings. But it did not had the green spot problem which other Nokia phones had.
• Music Player with 5 preset equalizer and 2 custom equalizer settings. It also had stereo widening as an extra build. It was capable of playing songs having extension .mp3, .wma, .wav, .midi etc. The response of the music player was good and also the music quality when heard through the earphones. Also there was a 3.5mm ear phone port.
• Micro USB port for PC synchronization and file transfer, Bluetooth 2.0 for file transfer.
• The phonebook had a capacity of storing 1000 contacts and 500 SMS. The phone memory was 48MB.
  
• A 1GB micro SD memory card was given free with the phone and the memory card slot was external, it had a hotswap option.
• It had support of languages like English, Hingi, Bangla as the phone I purchased was in India. Also had a special application built in called Life tools. Which was a daily alert kind of service.
• It supports Java games and softwares written by third party. We can install new games and softwares by downloading from the internet. It has 3 built in games like snake, sudoku and 3D Rally.
• It had built in Maps, using which we can locate our position without GPS, and also find out places of our interest using the pin or zip code.
• The battery comes for 3 days with normal usage and 2 days with excessive usage.
• It has all other features like MMS, EGDE, GPRS, Flash message, Instant Messaging, Calender, calculator etc.
• The price for which I got is just Rs.4250 or $95.

So I suggest this phone to all who has a upper constraint on the budget.
